Intel has decided to postponed offering of the Intel Pine Trail-M platform to manufacturers to first quarter of 2010, but Micro-Star International (MSI) is pushing through their planned release of new netbooks based on Pine Trail-M on December. According to some reports, MSI wants get ahead of other manufacturers and avoid price competition.

MSI is said to release netbooks with touchscreen capability running Windows 7.

On the other hand, while Asus and Acer already have Pine Trail-M-based netbooks, they are following Intel’s release date.
