Linux boots in 5 seconds on Eee PC

Intel developers managed to crack on Fedora and Moblin distros and made them to boot on the Eee PC in 5 seconds. Actual Eee PC model not mentioned, but it has an SSD, to give us a hint. They even had to hold the Eee PC with their hands in front of the audience since the projector is too slow to synch.

We were also able to see the Eee Box boot in under 7 seconds during the the Press Launch but it’s just the Express Gate. Booting in a real Linux OS is different.
