Digitimes reports that netbook manufacturers in Korea like Samsung and LG have recently increased netbook components significantly from Taiwan based component makers. On the other hand, component manufacturers are happy about this progress on netbook scene.

Samsung and LG are only two of the Korean netbook brands I know, and so far they play behind Asus, Acer, MSI and HP. It doesn’t mean that these brands bring poor performance, though. Samsung has by far gathered positive reviews and so as LG, though some brands are really cheaper on same specs. So it could all be about the pricing. With this latest move, I hope they could bring more cheaper netbooks without jeopardizing the performance, quality and power.
