Is the Skytone Android-powered netbook overpriced at $250?

skytone alpha netbookSkytone co-founder Nixon Wu was interviewed by Computerworld the other about the newly announced Android-powered netbook which is ARM based. The barebone of the Alpha 680 will feature a 7-inch LCD screen at 800 x 480 pixels, 128 MB of DDR2 RAM , 1 GB solid-state disk drive (upgrade options), built-in Wi-Fi, keyboard and touchpad. And when asked about the price, Wu said it could hit $250.

It’s all about the new OS if I would opt to buy this netbook. But really, the barebone can still be improved without affecting the price I guess.
