We were also able to see the Eee Box boot in under 7 seconds during the the Press Launch but it’s just the Express Gate. Booting in a real Linux OS is different.

The gOS 3 Beta comes bundled with Google Gadgets, which really looks cool, but I still have to try it. gOS is based on Ubuntu 188.8.131.52. gOS is now designed primarily for Netbooks and NetTops, thus, a possible competitor of the Ubuntu Netbook Remix.

Just right before I finished downloading Ubuntu eee Live USB installer, another cool Linux distro came out and added to my list of OSes to try. eeextra.com already got thier hands on GolinX Mini and the review was positive. According to them, GoblinX Mini comes with the following software:
- Abi Word processor
- GNumeric Spreadsheet
- plus some CPU monitoring software…
Not much different with deafult applications that comes with eeexubuntu.
