Asus EeeTop PC ET20/22 Officially On
Asus does not only manufacture mini-laptops or netbooks. They are also actually the first to introduced affordable all-in-one computers in the market. They had 15-inchers All-In-One Touch PC’s before that are sold for around $400. I got no ideas if it sold out like their netbooks, but I strongly believe it does that’s why they are making another round of All-In-One PC’s.
Asus EeeTop PC ET20 and ET22 series have even bigger screens at 20″ and 22″ respectively. The ET2002 is packed with Intel Atom 330 on ION chipset, 2GB RAM, 320GB HDD, Wifi and DVD RW and integrated stereo speakers. The ET2002T basically has the same specs, except that it is actually the one to have the touchscreen input. On the other hand is the ET2203T with pretty much same RAM and network options but with higher capacity storage, core 2 duo processors and better video card.
All 3 touch computers are capable of playing high-def videos.
Asus Eee PC 1000HE has flaws apparently

The Asus Eee PC 1000HE is the upgrade version of the 1000H. It receives a rather positive reviews from reputable laptop reviewers like Laptop Magazine, but of course there are flaws that are hidden somewhere and someone is trying to uncover it.
I find this article from Ezine Articles, and let’s try to analyze it.
- Battery is ’so heavy’ that it causes uneven distribution on weight throughout the netbook.
The Eee PC comes with a 6-cell battery that provides up to 9.5 hrs battery life per charge. Heavier weight is given here, so his point only counts for uneven weight distribution. I wonder how you carry your netbook that you will notice the weight on the other side is heavier than the other side. If you put it on your lap, would you feel that right leg has heavier load than the left from a 3.2 lbs netbook? If it’s in your bag or on your desk, you would also definitely notice its weight. Unless the netbook can’t stand properly on its own because of the imbalanced weight. - Eee PC 1000HE looks fat, lacks the sleek and elegant design
Although this is not a big flaw, I would agree that the Eee PC 1000HE looks bulkier than other netbooks. But it still looks like a netbook nonetheless. It doesn’t look as bulky as a full-sized laptop, which by the way, I still see a lot of people manage to carry those laptops. Though the new design of the Eee PC 1000HE is actually slimmer than previous designs, it still doesn’t make everyone happy. The most special about this new design is the easy access to RAM and Hard drive for upgrade purposes. And that’s what’s important. - The Asus Eee PC 1000HE 10-inch netbook does not ship with an anti-virus.
Although there’s a lot of available FREE anti-virus software available for download, I think Asus must have provided a default one for their netbooks. I’m not sure if 1000HE is only the case. I don’t have ample knowledge on how the company negotiate for third party software, but it would be good if they can pull one anti-virus out for future netbooks. - Customer support for Eee PC 1000HE
I haven’t personally tried to call the Asus Support but I would agree about what the author says. Not in my life I have spoken to a first line customer support of any product or service that they fixed my problem right away. So I already got used to this sense. But it is still important to have highly trained customer support, right?
But despite the said ‘flaws’, which I don’t exactly consider as flaws, the Asus Eee PC 1000HE is still the one I most preferred to buy soon. Unless there’s already a new one out that is cheaper and more powerful.
Asus Eee PC 1002HAE intros in Japan

And then I thought that this new model is totally cooler. Covered in aluminum skin, this dude could probably look more handsome than the HP Mini 2140. This new version of Eee PC 1002HA is technically the same breed when you look at the specs under the hood and the new skin is pretty much the only thing new. Weight is also reduced to 1.2kg, less than a pound lighter than 1002HA.

Asus Phasing out 7″ Netbooks, 8.9 inch not yet

Asus started their EEE PC line with an overwhelming welcome to 7 inchers. Later they come up with larger screens of 8.9 – 15″ including the Nettops. Now we have to admit that the first-gen EEE PC we loved will soon say its goodbyes. Asus will focus more on their larger netbooks and seems to phase out 8.9″ as well. Though not confirmed. I’m sure it’s all about business decision and we are well aware that 7″ nowadays are left behind mostly as compared to netbooks with larger screens. This decision is wise, and has a better chance of increasing sales on their other products as well.

Asus Eee Top, S101 Reached the Philippines
The Asus Eee Top and the S101 have been introduced to other countries in quite a while already but just recently in the Philippines. Primary reason of the delay could be their pretty expensive price tags. The S101 is priced at Php 34,800 and Php 32,800 for the Eee Top.
Still, these Eee models are cool.
