Ultimate S101

Asus unveils their newest (as of the moment) product, the “Ultimate Eee S101“, which is a high-end version of the Eee PC. It is supposed to belong to the Eee family but since they cannot drop their price for the new product to meet the price range for Eee brands, they are dropping the Eee brand instead. In September, when they release the product, the Eee logo wont be there anymore unlike the pics.

Asus Ultimate S101 will sport 32GB SSD or 64GB SSD, Intel Atom-based processor, 10.2 inches display @ 16:9 aspect ratio. Battery life will last up to 4.5 hours and the whole unit will only weigh at less than 1Kg. This will also come in a very slim physique and according to Engadget, Jerry Shen pulled the S101 out from an envelop like a Macbook Air. Prices are reported to be at $699 and $899 for the 32GB and 64GB respectively.
