Asus EEE PC 1001HA Seashell
Asus called their netbooks with slimmer design “seashell”, simply because of the clamshell design that resembles a seashell; thicker from behind and gets thinner in front. So far they have released the 1008HA and 1005HA.
Recently, another seashell model of EEE PC was found along the shore and it just doesn’t looks like seashell but feels like it as well. It’s the 1001HA, and it has wavy design on the lid that creates a texture of a real seashell. The new netbook was first found from some European retailers. The netbook is said to look the same as the 1005HA with 1GB RAM, 160GB. Only it has a slower Intel Atom 270 compared to 1005HA’s N280. And reportedly, this new model will have 3 OS options. There’s no much info I have about this new specie apart from the following specs:

Chipset: Intel 945GSE + ICH7M
Memory: 1GB DDR2
Hard drive: 160GB
