I’ve always been eyeing on this netbook. – As far as I’m concern, 1015N has a good stable battery life which is what I find attractive on top of a pretty decent processor.

It looks slick too.

@Graham:

I had neck and back problems as well but invested on a Aeron chair and it’s been my best investment since. Just look it up on Google and you’ll understand what I mean by its flexibility.

Otherwise, a neck rest would do the trick, at least a lil

I hope those neck and back problems are nothing more serious like high blood pressure.

I’m glad ASUS is striving to make high performance laptops. Sometimes laptop system requirements are just too limited and upgrading can be so costly that most still use a desktop.

Do you have any idea what the battery life on the 1005PE is? Do any of these newer laptops come with a battery life greater than 4 hours?

Yes, I guess when you are looking for the powerful mini laptop, the Asus 1015N will be the right product for you. But right now, I think I really need to get some tips on how to work with my laptop safely without back or neck pain and shoulder problems.

Asus just replied and said that in the near future (voorlopig) they are certainly NOT going to sell the 1015N in Holland, wich probbably also means the rest of Europe.

Think i’ll settle with the 1005PE-matte wich can still play 720p with CoreAVC, since i have yet to find a 11,6 or 12 incher without the annoying glossy screen…
