3.8 Million Eee PC for 2008

Over at DailyTech, they reported that Asus is targeting 3.8 Million Eee PC market sales in 2008. Some of the Eee PC will sport Windows XP. It is confirmed that the licensing will be stripped-down version of XP. But still, the price will still be higher than the base cost.

This is a nice figure to target. Asus Eee PC has garnered possitive reviews from different review sites and in terms of mobility, it’s currently one of the best – if not the best.

On the other hand, Asus Eee PC has been a successful project, which Intel and Microsoft embraces. They just love it for it means 3.8 million Intel Processors will also be purchased from them by Asus. Although, not all units will be shipped with Windows OS.
